Simple Low Calorie Smoothies

ALL RECIPES SERVE ONE PERSON

Strawberry Banana Smoothie: 
Total: 150-150 Calories
  • 1/2 cup of strawberries: 25
  • 1/2 of a banana: 45- 50 calories depending on size
  • 1/4 cup of 1% milk or more depending on how much you want: 28 calories or more
  • 1/4 cup of water: 0 calories
  • 1/3 cup of 0% fat vanilla yogurt: 43 calories
Strawberry Banana Blueberry Smoothie: 
Total: 150-160 calories 
  • 1/4 cup of strawberries: Around 15 calories
  • 1/4 cup of blueberries: About 20 calories
  • 1/2 of a banana: 45- 50 calories depending on size
  • 1/4 cup of 1% milk or more depending on how much you want: 28 calories or more
  • 1/4 cup of water: 0 calories
  • 1/3 cup of 0% fat vanilla yogurt: 43 calories
 Blueberry Smoothie: 
Total: 125 calories
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries: About 45 calories
  • 1/3 cup of 1% milk or more depending on how much you want: 37 calories or more
  • 1/8 cup of water: 0 calories
  • 1/3 cup of 0% fat vanilla yogurt: 43 calories
 Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie: 
Total: 211 calories 
  • 1/2 of a banana: 45- 50 calories depending on size 
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter: 90 calories (feel free to add more) 
  • 1/3 cup of 0% fat vanilla yogurt: 43 calories 
  • 1/4 cup of 1% milk: 28 calories (Feel free to add more) 
Peanut Butter, Jelly and Banana Smoothie: 
Total: 206 calories
  • 1/2 of a banana: 45- 50 calories depending on size 
  • 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter: 45 calories (Feel free to add more) 
  • 1 tablespoon of any jelly or jam that you want to use: 50 calories 
  • 1/4 cup of 0% fat vanilla yogurt: 33 calories 
  • 1/4 cup of 1% milk: 28 calories (Feel free to add more) 

Sweeten Your Smoothie: (I don't really think the smoothies need to be sweetened. The vanilla yogurt and fruit sweetens them up quite a bit.) 
  • A tablespoon of vanilla adds around 35 calories.
  • A cup of low fat vanilla frozen yogurt is 214 calories. 
  • A tablespoon of white sugar is 48 calories.

NOTE: Make sure you eat something else with these smoothies, otherwise you are bound to be hungry in the next two hours. Smoothies are not the greatest for helping one stay full. They don't keep me full for more than two hours.
