Olive Oil Crackers
Recipe and photograph by Jenny
This recipe is so simple yet satisfying if you are searching for a salty, crunchy snack. It also has olive oil, a healthy fat in it. The thing is I completely make this by intuition and trial and error, so if the dough is too sticky, add water, or if the dough is not holding together, add flour.
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup of olive oil • 1 cup of flour
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Cayenne pepper to taste
• Water
• Mix all the ingredients together. Add more water if necessary.
• Add flour to a flat surface and roll out dough as thin as possible. Cut into different shapes.
• Drizzle olive oil on top of the crackers and top with salt, preferably sea salt.
• Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
